This symposium features perspectives on promoting emotional well-being. Barbara Fredrickson’s work focuses on facilitating positive emotional responding and well-being. Iris Mauss’s work focuses on emotion regulation across the lifespan. Jim Coan’s work focuses on social regulation of emotion. James Gross, whose research centers on emotion regulation, will serve as discussant.
