Social Isolation

Saturday, May 25, 2013, 12:30 PM - 1:05 PM
Thurgood Marshall Ballroom West

Social species, by definition, form organizations that extend beyond the individual. These structures evolved hand in hand with behavioral, neural, hormonal, cellular, and genetic mechanisms to support them. Social isolation represents a lens through which to investigate these behavioral, neural, hormonal, cellular, and genetic mechanisms.

This is part of the Biological Bases of Social Behavior Theme Program.
