GRAND VALLEY STATE UNIVERSITY. Two tenure-track positions, both at the Assistant Professor level, beginning Fall, 2013. A doctorate in Psychology is required, with all requirements for the degree completed by Fall, 2013. We seek candidates whose background, training, and accomplishments provide concrete evidence that they will be excellent teachers, researchers, and colleagues. All candidates must be committed to undergraduate liberal education, with research interests that can involve undergraduates. We also expect candidates for all our faculty positions to have the background necessary to teach Introductory Psychology and Research Methods.
BEHAVIORAL NEUROSCIENCE: We seek candidates with research experience and teaching interests in Behavioral Neuroscience. Candidates should be well-prepared to teach courses in Behavioral Neuroscience and in their specialized subdiscipline.
DEVELOPMENTAL PSYCHOLOGY: We seek candidates with research experience and teaching interests in Developmental Psychology. Candidates should be well-prepared to teach courses related to development, including Child Development and Lifespan Development.
