| The Psychology program in the Social Sciences Department at Saint Leo University anticipates one (possibly two) Assistant/Associate Professor of Psychology position(s) for the 2013-2014 academic year pending budget approval. The position is a 9 month, full-time, tenure-track faculty position from August 15- May 15, located on University Campus in Saint Leo, FL.
Duties include an 8 course load per calendar year, advising students, engaging in curriculum development, scholarly research, community service in keeping with the school’s Benedictine values, and helping the Psychology program complete strategic initiatives. The anticipated start date for this position is August 15, 2013.
The successful candidate will hold a doctoral degree from a regionally accredited institution with a specialization in any of the following areas: learning, cognitive, or physiological psychology, or in I/O psychology. Preferred candidates will also teach History and Systems. Previous college teaching experience, a commitment to active research involving undergraduate students, and the willingness and ability to teach online or through electronic media are preferred.
