|NON-TENURE DIGITAL INSTRUCTOR|

| The Department of Psychology at Florida International Univesity seeks applicants for a non-tenure track digital instructor position to begin fall 2013.
This is a full-time teaching position with primary emphasis on online course development and online undergraduate instruction in one or more of the following areas: Clinical Science, Developmental Science, Industrial Organizational Psychology, Legal Psychology, Cognitive Neuroscience or Social Psychology as applied to one of the above areas.
The individual in this position will be responsible for teaching online courses and working with other psychology faculty to facilitate their development of online courses.
The instructor will also provide instruction and assistance to psychology faculty with regard to digital instruction techniques, pedagogical construction of online courses, digital research methodologies, and serve as the liaison between the Psychology department and other departments within the University regarding digital platforms and delivery of instruction methodologies. A Ph.D. in Psychology is required.
Preference will be given to individuals with demonstrated history in online instruction and course development and individuals with experience or interest in teaching in across the multiple programs of the department.
We are looking for an instructor who can fulfill the needs of a student-driven learning environment and can motivate students from a distance via engaging and original content. Instructors must be proficient with the technology they intend to use in their courses.
