The Psychology program in the Department of Social Sciences at Saint Leo University anticipates two Assistant or Associate Professor of Psychology positions for the 2013-2014 academic year pending budget approval. These positions are nine month, full-time, tenure-track faculty positions from August 15- May 15, located on University Campus in Saint Leo, FL.

Duties include an 8 course load per calendar year, advising students, engaging in curriculum development, engaging in scholarly research, undertaking community service in keeping with the school’s Benedictine values, and helping the Psychology program complete strategic initiatives. The anticipated start date for this position is August 15, 2013.

The successful candidate for the first position will hold a doctoral degree from a regionally accredited institution with a specialization in any of the following areas: learning, cognitive, or physiological psychology. The successful candidate for the second position will hold a doctoral degree from a regionally accredited institution with a specialization in I/O psychology. Preferred candidates for both positions will also teach History and Systems. Previous college teaching experience, a commitment to an active research program involving undergraduate students, and the willingness and ability to teach online or through electronic media are preferred.
