Professor in Developmental Psychology

This is your chance to take on an exciting research leadership role in the area of Developmental Psychology – a particular research strength of our Psychology department. You will be joining a strong Research Group that regularly attracts external funding, in a Faculty that has increased laboratory space by 60% since the last RAE. Your challenge will be to make a significant contribution to the strategic development of the Department, while engaging in research and lecturing activities. You will lead and mentor members of the Developmental Psychology Research Group; maintain a personal programme of international-standard research; attract and supervise research students; and build national and international links – all while contributing to the School’s academic management.
With a PhD in Psychology; a proven record of research; and the ability to attract external funding, you will be an organised academic with the drive to achieve international excellence for the department. You will be an experience academic and have the communication skills to inspire and support both students and colleagues. You will also be ready to contribute to leadership in the department. An able supervisor, you have the expertise to provide leadership in Developmental Psychology (especially its clinical aspects).
