| The Department of Psychology invites applications for a fixed-term full-time position at the Assistant Professor level in its off-campus undergraduate program beginning in Fall 2013. The term of contract is one year with possibility of renewal. We seek a broadly trained scholar in psychology, with primary teaching emphases in psychological statistics and research methods. A Ph.D. in Psychology is required. A commitment to teaching is essential, with successful teaching experience in both face-to-face and online formats required. A willingness to teach and advise undergraduate psychology majors in the off-campus program is required, with a primary location of the metro Detroit area. Evidence of continued professional development as indicated by a record of consistent professional development activities and/or current research demonstrated by presentations at conferences and/or publications is required. Experience working with non-traditional adult learners in time-compressed formats is required. Salary is competitive and will be based on the qualifications and experience of the successful candidate.
