Tenure-Track Assistant or Associate Professor

The Department of Psychology at the University of Detroit Mercy seeks to
fill a tenure-track position at the Assistant or Associate Professor level for August of 2013.

Required: A doctorate in Clinical Psychology from an APA accredited program, licensed or licensed eligible in the State of Michigan, and experience providing professional psychological services in clinical setting(s) are required. Applicants are also required to have demonstrated teaching ability, an affinity for both undergraduate and graduate education (at both the M.A. and doctoral levels), interest in department/university service, and evidence of research potential or experience. Individuals who hold full licensure in the State of Michigan will be given preference. Due to the fact that the University of Detroit Mercy emphasizes teaching demonstrated ability for teaching excellence will also be given particular weight in the hiring process.

Desired Qualifications: Applicants who have expertise in either or both quantitative methods and developmental psychology are especially encouraged to apply.
