Assistant Professor, Psychology

The Department of Psychology at the State University of New York, College at Plattsburgh invites applications for a ten-month tenure-track faculty position at the rank of Assistant Professor in Psychology with clinical training in the fields of Clinical Psychology, Clinical Neuropsychology or School Psychology, effective August 2013.

Responsibilities include: Primary responsibilities for this position will include teaching at least two courses per semester (biopsychology, neuropsychology, and other courses associated with the candidate’s clinical expertise), engaging graduate students and undergraduate students in clinical and research endeavors, and working with clients in the Neuropsychology Clinic.

Required Qualifications: The successful candidate is expected to have completed a Ph.D. or Psy.D. in an APA approved clinical or school psychology program. The candidate must have demonstrated clinical expertise and teaching ability. New York State licensure as a psychologist or eligibility for licensing before joining the Department of Psychology is required.

Salary: Commensurate with experience plus excellent benefits.
