| The Department of Psychology expects to fill a non-tenure track, full-time, Senior Lecturer position to begin Fall 2013. We seek a faculty member who is strongly committed to teaching undergraduate courses in psychology such as Introductory Psychology and Research Methods. Special consideration will be given to candidates with interest and experience in exploring the changing face of undergraduate education through the use of emerging technologies. Responsibilities will include teaching up to two undergraduate psychology courses per quarter (autumn, winter, spring), coordinating the Department of Psychology’s online and distance learning courses, maintaining close liaison with the UW Center for Teaching and Learning and UW Information Technology, and working with faculty members to develop courses taking advantage of new instructional technologies. Renewal contracts for this position, after the initial one-year period, may be extended to 3 years and eventually to a 5-year term. Ph.D. required by date of appointment. University of Washington faculty engage in teaching, research, and service.
