| LAKELAND COLLEGE, a liberal arts institution located in eastern Wisconsin, seeks qualified candidates for the anticipated tenure-track position of Assistant Professor of Psychology, beginning in August 2013. A specialty in Health Psychology or a general experimental area is preferred. The successful candidate will teach a wide range of psychology courses, including an experimental course (such as cognition), biopsychology or research methods, and a course in the candidate's area of interest. Additional faculty responsibilities include collaborative research with our undergraduates, advising, committee work, and professional development. This position includes periodic participation in the college's interdisciplinary general studies program and the Evening, Weekend, and Online program.
Appointment at the rank of assistant professor requires a Ph.D. in psychology from an accredited institution. Undergraduate teaching experience is preferred. Compensation will be commensurate with background and experience and a comprehensive benefit program is offered.
