| The National Center for Posttraumatic Stress Disorder, Dissemination and Training (D & T) Division in Menlo Park, California, will soon have an opening for a full time Clinical Psychologist/Researcher to serve as a lead evaluator of mobile applications (apps) for Veterans, civilians, family members, and clinicians affected by traumatic stress. The D&T Division is the leading think tank for mobile app development in VA with a steady pipeline of mobile apps developed since 2009, including the multi-award winning PTSD Coach. The incumbent will be responsible for creating and maintaining an evaluation portfolio related to the mobile apps developed in this division. The incumbent will work closely with the development team in order to integrate research and evaluation into all stages of development and deployment. Required experience: scholarship related to technology generally and apps specifically including grant funding, study design and coordination, manuscript writing, and management of multiple projects. The selected individual will understand PTSD and related disorders as well as associated evidence-based clinical interventions. This position will require an excellent communicator with strong initiative and vision for the creation of a portfolio of research projects from feasibility through implementation of novel products.
