Visiting Assistant Professor

The University, College of Sciences and Health Professions, and Department seek to attract a diverse and culturally sensitive faculty of the highest caliber. The appointment will be for one academic year, beginning August 19, 2013 through May 14, 2014. The primary responsibility of the individual who fills this position will be to teach 16 credit hours per semester of undergraduate courses such as Social Psychology; Statistics; Research Methods; Personality Psychology; Child Development; Adolescent Psychology; Introduction to Psychology; Motivation; Learning; Perception; and Memory and Cognition. It may be possible for the appointee to teach graduate-level courses and to supervise honors and other undergraduate research projects. Minimum qualifications: Completion of all requirements for a doctoral degree in psychology or closely related field by July 1, 2013. Preferred qualifications include college teaching experience and teaching interests that match a subset of the above list of courses.
