The Department of Psychology invites outstanding applicants for a full-time tenure-track Assistant or Associate Professor position in the area of BEHAVIORAL NEUROSCIENCE. We seek candidates who use animal models, excluding non-human primates, to investigate the neural basis of behavior and cognition to support our collaborative, interdisciplinary approach to research, mentoring and teaching. Possible research areas include learning & memory, decision-making, neuroethology, neuroendocrinology, and comparative genomics. Research focus should be primarily experimental, although a theoretical component would also be welcome. The successful candidate is expected to develop a strong research program, and teach undergraduate and graduate level courses in animal neuroscience and behavior. Doctoral degree, a minimum of 12 months postdoctoral experience, and a record of research productivity are required.
