| The Virginia Military Institute Department of Psychology invites applications for a tenure track position in psychology. Although the specific area of specialization is open, we are particularly interested in candidates who can teach a core-curriculum course in organizational leadership and other courses in psychology. A Ph.D. is required, although very strong ABD’s in psychology or related areas with a concentration in leadership would be considered. Normal teaching load is 9 hours per semester in a small, collegial department. Prior military experience is not required for this position. Performance will be measured based on: teaching, scholarly engagement, professional citizenship, and cadet development.
