West Chester University of Pennsylvania’s Department of Psychology invites applicants for a tenure-track faculty position in Cognitive Psychology at the assistant professor level. Applicants must have a Ph.D. in psychology, an active program of research studying cognitive processes, and the ability to mentor undergraduate and graduate students in research. Preference will be given to applicants with expertise in cognition and aging. We are especially interested in recruiting faculty from under-represented groups. Applicants must express a commitment to teaching courses in cognitive psychology and undergraduate core courses. Applicants selected for on-campus interviews must successfully complete the interview process, including a colloquium demonstrating teaching and research excellence to be considered a finalist. Completion of the Ph.D. is required before the start of the Fall 2014 semester.
