| The Department of Psychology invites applications for one tenure-track position and three non-tenure track positions to begin in September, 2014. We are seeking candidates with strong teaching experience and research excellence. The tenure track position is in the area of Cognition or Learning & Memory. The non-tenure track positions are in 1) Clinical/Counseling/Community or School psychology, 2) Industrial-Organizational Psychology with specialization in Organizational, and 3) Specialization Open. Contracts are for one year.
A Ph.D. in Psychology is strongly preferred, although advanced ABD candidates will be considered if degree is completed by the start of this appointment. Candidates will be expected to teach, conduct research, advise students, and must also possess a strong commitment to the integration of teaching and research. Tenure-track candidates should be actively engaged in research and show promise of continued research productivity.
All candidates will teach undergraduate courses. Some may be asked to teach graduate courses in our Master’s program in Applied Psychology, which has concentrations in Industrial- Organizational Psychology and Community Psychology. In addition, successful candidates will value the University’s Catholic identity, tradition, and spirit.
