LECTURER in APPLIED DEVELOPMENTAL PSYCHOLOGY: The program in Applied Developmental and Educational Psychology in the Department of Counseling, Educational and Developmental Psychology of the Lynch School of Education, Boston College, seeks to fill a full-time non-tenure track position beginning fall 2014. We are looking for applicants with a strong teaching background and a doctoral degree in applied developmental and/or community psychology that have experiences working in diverse community and educational contexts. Applicants with experiences working internationally and/or with transnational communities of children, youth, and families affected by economic and/or social (e.g., health, education) disparities would be considered particularly strong candidates. Primary responsibilities include teaching and mentoring undergraduate students in the Applied Psychology and Human Development program as well as participation in service activities within the department. Consistent with the mission of Boston College, faculty members in our program demonstrate a strong commitment to social justice through their teaching and practice.
