| Department of Psychology at CNU invites applications for Assistant Professor position in Neuroscience beginning 8/18/14. CNU seeks outstanding instructor committed to undergraduate education in the context of liberal learning who will engage students in creative intellectual challenges. Evidence of commitment to teaching and learning excellence required. Applications sought from individuals specializing in areas of human neuroscience (e.g. Neuropsychology, Behavioral Neuroscience, etc.) Ability for excellence in teaching, active research/publication history that could involve undergraduate students, and ability to teach courses in introductory psychology, research methods, statistics, biopsychology, neuroscience, and courses in the applicant’s area of specialization preferred. Ph.D. in Psychology or Neuroscience required for appointment at Assistant Professor. ABDs will be considered for non-tenure-track appointment at Instructor rank. Nominal teaching load for Assistant Professor is 3-3 and 4-4 for Instructor.
