Lecturer with Potential Security of Employment
The Psychology Department (http://psychology.ucsd.edu/) within the Division of Social Sciences at UC San Diego is committed to academic excellence and diversity within the faculty, staff and student body. The department invites applications for a Lecturer with Potential Security of Employment position in Psychology. Faculty in the L(P)SOE series will be Teaching Professors, and are expected to provide outstanding teaching, as well as to engage in professional activity and service related to pedagogy. The series is analogous to the other professorial ones, with membership in the Academic Senate, and contingent upon promotion, tenure-paralleling security of employment. Candidates will be favored who have teaching expertise in statistics, industrial and organizational psychology, applied, clinical or another substantive area not well represented by current faculty, and expertise developing online instructional tools.
Salary: Salary is commensurate with qualifications and based on University of California pay scales.
