| The Department of Psychology at the University of Connecticut in Storrs invites applications for a full-time tenure-track faculty position at the rank of Assistant Professor. We are especially interested in individuals having clinical and research expertise in the areas of developmental psychopathology and/or child clinical treatment. The Clinical Division offers a concentration in child clinical psychology and the successful candidate will contribute to the clinical research program and teaching of child clinical courses. Successful candidates will be expected to demonstrate the existence of (or the promise of developing) an active research program in their area of expertise, a track record (or promise) of obtaining external research support, and a commitment to excellence in the teaching of undergraduates and graduate students.
Must have a Ph.D. from an APA accredited, doctoral clinical psychology program and be license-eligible in the State of Connecticut. Must be able to contribute at the graduate level to the Clinical graduate training program and possess a background and research promise in the area of Developmental Psychopathology or Child Treatment. Must be able to teach graduate courses in the Clinical Psychology Program as well as high enrollment (100+) undergraduate courses; and must demonstrate the existence of (or the promise of developing) a vibrant research program in their area of expertise in clinical psychology and a track record (or promise) of obtaining external research support. Must have a commitment to excellence in teaching and mentoring undergraduate and graduate students.
