The Department of Psychology at Penn State (http://psych.la.psu.edu/) invites applications for the position of lecturer. The positions require teaching undergraduate research methods courses, possibly also introductory statistics, and courses in clinical, cognitive, developmental, industrial-organizational, or social psychology. Candidates should be available for both on-line and classroom teaching assignments. Previous teaching experience and fit to the department’s teaching needs are critical. These are full-time positions with a teaching load of three courses per semester during the academic year; summer teaching is negotiable. Ph.D. preferred and at least ABD status required. January or August 2014 start dates are possible. The initial contract period is one year, with a good chance of continuing and multiple yearly renewal depending on funding.
