| Florida Southern College Psychology, Assistant Professor, Tenure Track The Department of Psychology at Florida Southern College invites applications for a tenure-track appointment as Assistant Professor of Psychology to begin in August 2014. A Ph.D. in Psychology is strongly preferred; however, a qualified ABD could be considered. A focus on Industrial/Organizational Psychology is preferred. Primary responsibilities include teaching I/O, introductory courses, and other areas of need and interest. The successful candidate will possess a passion for teaching, collegiality, and concern for students, and this should be reflected in the candidate’s experiences. While promoting active, engaged learning is of primary importance, a specific commitment to conducting collaborative research with students is highly desirable. In addition, the successful candidate will be expected to maintain an appropriate scholarly agenda, advise majors, and serve on college committees.
