PERSONALITY PROCESSES- TEXAS A&M UNIVERSITY. As part of an initiative to enhance the strength of existing clusters of research interest, The Department of Psychology (http://psychology.tamu.edu) at Texas A&M University (http://www.tamu.edu) invites applications for a senior level position (Full or Associate Professor) with research interests in personality and individual differences, broadly construed, to begin in Fall 2014. The specific area of personality and individual differences research is open, although candidates with research programs complementing existing related strengths such as emotion and self-regulation, decision making, interpersonal relationships, and the interaction of personality and psychopathology are especially welcome. We are particularly interested in individuals who study one or more of these processes across diverse populations (e.g., age, gender, culture, ethnicity) and are interested in conducting translational work across the Department and University. Applicants should be able to contribute substantially to one or more of our existing graduate programs, such as clinical psychology, social psychology and industrial/organizational. Candidates will be expected to carry out a vigorous program of grant-supported research, actively participate in graduate training and contribute to graduate and undergraduate teaching. State of the art research facilities and generous start-up funds are available to support this recruitment. A Ph.D. in psychology or related field is required.
