| 2-YEAR VISITING POSITION(S) IN COGNITIVE/SOCIAL/CLINICAL. The Union College Department of Psychology is inviting applications for a 2-year Visiting Assistant Professor position, beginning September 2014. A second two-year visiting position may also be available and will be filled based on departmental needs, pending administrative approval. There is a possibility that both positions could be extended past two years. A strong program of research and a commitment to undergraduate teaching are necessary. In addition to introductory psychology, statistics, and research methods, we are looking for someone who can teach some subset of the following courses: sensation and perception, cognitive psychology, cognitive neuroscience, psychology of language, social psychology, abnormal psychology, health psychology, psychological assessment and testing. For one of the positions, an interest in interdisciplinary programs such as neuroscience is a plus. Ph.D. by appointment date preferred.
Union is a small, private college founded in 1795 with a long history of excellence in the liberal arts, sciences, and engineering.
