| The Department of Psychology at Carleton College invites applications for a visiting position in Neuroscience/Biopsychology for the academic year beginning September 1, 2014. PhD or its imminent completion is required. The position is a one-year position with a six-course load spread equally across three trimester terms of 10 weeks each. Teaching responsibilities for the year will include a mid-level behavioral neuroscience course with accompanying laboratory, mid-level courses and seminars in areas of specialization, and supervision of undergraduate thesis work primarily in neuroscience, or more broadly, biological psychology. We provide visiting faculty mentoring in teaching and opportunities for research. Animal facilities, as well as equipment for studying human physiology, are available.
