| The Division of Behavioral Medicine in the Department of Pediatrics of the School of Medicine and Biomedical Sciences at the University at Buffalo, invites applications for several open-rank tenure-track positions in pediatric obesity or behavioral medicine. These positions are supported by state lines and do not rely on soft funding.
We seek outstanding Ph.D. or M.D. applicants who are primarily interested in research and will bring with them or establish creative extramurally funded research programs in obesity or behavioral medicine. The candidate/s will be able to take advantage of already established collaborations within the department and the university at large as well as collaborate in the development of innovative interdisciplinary programs of research. The candidates will be able to take advantage of state of the art facilities.
Candidates at the Professor/Associate Professor level are expected to have a well established publication record and current extramural funding. Assistant Professors will be expected to have a strong publication record, and must develop a funded research program. The University at Buffalo (UB) is the State University of New York’s (SUNY’s) largest and most comprehensive research-intensive university and is its primary center for professional education and training as well as a member of the Association of American Universities (AAU).
