| The Department of Psychology at Skidmore College invites applications for a tenure-track position in Psychology at the level of Assistant or Associate Professor beginning Fall 2015. The position is open and applications are invited from all areas of specialization; we are especially interested in candidates with scholarship/teaching related to diversity or cross-cultural issues. The faculty member in this position will teach core courses (e.g., research methods) and courses in the area of expertise, and will supervise undergraduate research. Within the context of a five-course teaching load, the position also occasionally includes teaching a first-year interdisciplinary seminar (topic open).
Preference will be given to candidates with teaching experience who have a Ph.D. in psychology or, if ABD, will complete the Ph.D. by Fall 2015, and who have potential to develop a significant research program in psychology.
